Hi there, we are Craig and Martina, the faces behind It's Time Weddings and Events! 

Weddings, birthdays, baby showers, graduations and everything in between, these are all milestones that deserve to be celebrated to the fullest. When Craig and Martina met, they both realized that planning the perfect moment was something they both enjoyed, not only for each other but also for others.

When it was time for Craig to pop the question, he knew he wanted it to be something extravagant, yet intimate and memorable. While visiting Craig’s family in London, Craig and Martina took a trip to Paris, France where Craig proposed in the Orangery at Chateau de Versailles. Craig spent months planning the proposal, coordinating and conversing with various vendors overseas to help pull all the details together. The landscape, architecture and crisp fall air made for a day they would remember forever. After asking for her hand in marriage, they spent the evening celebrating at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the city of love followed by a trip to the Eiffel Tower. 

Upon arriving back to North Carolina, the planning began immediately, it was time to plan the wedding of their dreams. The fall date was confirmed at the beautiful River Landing Country Club in Wallace, NC and the countdown had begun with 9 months to go. Many will tell you that planning a wedding is typically one of the most stressful tasks of one’s lifetime, but not for the Brooks’. Craig and Martina share traits that make them the perfect pair for planning any event. These traits and skills were heavily recognized and requested from friends and family over the years to plan events such as weddings, birthdays and graduation celebrations. 

Martina's passion and experience in working with weddings, corporate, university and various other social events prompted her to want to expand and take planning to the next level. With almost a decade of experience in the hospitality industry working in hotel sales assisting clients, Martina has planned and coordinated 100s of events.

One evening while Craig and Martina were discussing their plans for the future, they simultaneously looked at each other and said, ‘it’s time’. It’s time for us to start doing what we love and that is making others smile by creating these events that they can cherish, look back on and smile. 

We've been fortunate enough to plan events across the state of North Carolina all the way from the beautiful coastline near Wilmington to the snowcapped mountains of Asheville.
